Haley Bookbinder, ATC
Certified Athletic Trainer, Crozet Clinic
Haley has a B.S. in Athletic Training from Springfield College. A Rhode Island native, she is currently attending the University of Virginia to attain a master’s degree in athletic training. Haley has experience working in collegiate and high school settings, as well as physical therapy clinics. Haley enjoys the beach, playing sports, being outside, and spending time with friends.
Dan Freed-Pastor, DPT, OCS
Physical Therapist, Crozet and Mountainside Clinics
Dan, originally from Ohio, graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2008 with a B.A. in Chemistry. He then moved to New York and earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University in 2011. After working in Manhattan for several years in orthopaedics and sports medicine, he became a board certified orthopaedic clinical specialist in 2014. He and his wife moved to Charlottesville from northern Virginia where he directed a Spine Center at an orthopaedic practice. His clinical interests include thrower's injuries, spine and return to sport rehabilitation. He and his wife spend most of their free time outdoors hiking, trail running and canoeing.
Erica Stowe, DPT
Physical Therapist, Crozet Clinic
Erica, a Nelson County native, graduated from James Madison University in 2013 with her B.S. in Kinesiology. She then took a year off to explore Wyoming and Maine for 6 months horse-packing and working for the Maine Conservation Corps before returning to Virginia. After three years in Richmond, she graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, and is excited to return home to put her skills to use, assisting patients of all ages to incorporate activity back into their lives. Erica has seen a variety of populations from her clinical time in school and is excited to bring her knowledge back to her community. During her time at VCU, Erica participated in the Virginia Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities program, which focuses on interdisciplinary leadership and education for children with disabilities. She is also interested in Pelvic and Women’s Health. She currently lives in Nelson County and enjoys spending her free time exploring the outdoors through hiking, biking, and running, playing ultimate Frisbee, and gardening.
Justin Pretlow, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist, Crozet Clinic Manager
Justin, originally from Suffolk, VA, graduated from the University of Virginia in 2001 with a B.A. in Economics. After working as a youth counselor for a number of years, he returned to school in 2009 to pursue a career in physical therapy. Justin received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2013 and returned to Charlottesville to join the PT Plus team. His clinical interests include biomechanics of the lower extremities, running-related injuries, and helping patients of all ages return to an active, healthy lifestyle. Justin enjoys hiking, running, most outdoor sports, and seeing live music in his free time.
Elizabeth Poole, MSPT
Physical Therapist, Women’s Health Specialist, Crozet Clinic
Elizabeth completed her undergraduate work in Kinesiology at James Madison University, and then received her physical therapy degree from Medical College of Virginia in 1998. After spending three years working in Texas, she and her husband moved back to Virginia to be near family in 2001. Her physical therapy practice has been in outpatient and inpatient settings treating a variety of diagnoses. She began focusing on Women’s Health treatment over the past seven years and has enjoyed helping women of all ages conquer issues of pelvic pain, incontinence and pre/post-natal pain. She lives in Crozet. Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons Micah and Caleb. While her kids keep her very busy, she still finds time for running, exercising with friends and adventure races to keep fit.

Zachary Hunt, AT, CSCS
Certified Athletic Trainer, Sports Enhancement, Functional Movement Screen Certified,
Zachary has a B.S. in Athletic Training from Anderson University. He is also a Certified Athletic Trainer, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner, and Impact Trained Athletic Trainer. Zachary's areas of focus inlcude: Sports Enhancement, General Fitness, Rehabilitation, Mobility Training, TRX Suspension Training, Experience with Youth, High School and College Athletes, Concussion Management, and Therapeutic Taping. Zachary was recently married June 20, 2015 and spent his honeymoon tent-camping in Yellowstone National Park. Three words that describe Zachary: dedicated, positive, and motivating.
Randy Rider, PT, CHT
Physical Therapist, Certified Hand Therapist, Crozet Clinic
Originally from upstate New York, Randy received his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Hunter College in 1990. He worked in a variety of physical therapy settings in California before moving to Virginia in 2003. Randy lives in Crozet with his wife and three children.
